Who is responsible

Menu Info’s content is overseen by its founder and editor, Aliza. She is responsible for the standards on this page, approves new menu pages and guides before they are published, and reviews every correction request.

Independence

Menu Info is an independent website. We are not owned by, affiliated with or paid by any restaurant chain. No restaurant can pay to appear on the site, to change what we write about it or to be placed above a competitor. Brand names, menu item names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the food we describe.

Original writing

Everything on Menu Info is written in our own words. We do not copy menus, item descriptions or articles from other websites. When we use facts from official sources, such as a chain’s nutrition guide or a company announcement, we summarize them and explain what they mean for someone deciding what to order.

Research

Menu pages are built from each chain’s official website and app, official nutrition and allergen documents, company announcements, independent price trackers and reader reports. The full method, including how we choose which price to publish, is on our How We Check Prices page.

Accuracy standards

• Prices are typical prices, not official prices, and every menu page says so.
• Where prices vary widely between locations, we show a range and explain why.
• Limited time items and deals are labeled so readers know they may end.
• Calorie figures come from official nutrition information and are shown as ranges where items can be customized.
• We do not invent quotes, reviews, statistics or personal experiences.
• Claims about company history and ownership are checked against public, reliable sources.

Updates

Every menu page is reviewed at least once a month, and its title shows the month it was last checked. Pages are updated sooner when a chain announces a price change, a new item, a discontinued item or a new deal. Restaurant guides are reviewed when the facts they rely on change.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it. Readers can report errors through our contact page. Please include the restaurant, the location, the date and what you saw. We review every report. If an error affects most readers, such as a discontinued item or a national price change, we correct the page promptly. If a difference is local to one restaurant, we may add a note about price variation instead.

Health and allergy information

Calorie and nutrition details are a general guide only and are not medical or dietary advice. Anyone with a food allergy or medical condition should check the restaurant’s current allergen guide and speak to staff before ordering.

Advertising

Menu Info may show advertising to keep the site free. Advertising never influences our menu pages, prices, deals or recommendations, and ads are kept clearly separate from our content.
